Hi, today I’m going to talk about “Violet Evergarden”” direct by Taishi ishidate and originally created by Kana Akatsuki for a homonymous serie of Lights novels

The series tells the history of Violet. She is a retired soldier. She lost her arms in the battlefield. The major Gilbert Bougainvillea who in the war was in charge of Violet, He ordered his partner Claudia Hodgins to take care of her. Also Violet had been received by the Evergarden family, and they gave her their surname. Claudia has a postal company where Violet was invited to work, she was really interested in “Automemory Dolls”. The “Automemory Dolls”  writes letters for those who can't do it. Violet wants to be an Automemory Doll to understand the feelings of the people and her own feelings.

I really like this anime, because I like how the audiovisual aspects like the lights, landscapes, planes, character designs and the soundtrack have a lot of amazing details. So I think that’s what makes this series beautiful.

I think history is not quite good. The main story is composed by little stories that don’t take more than 2 chapters, and some of these aren’t very important or some stories are superficial but in general it’s a nice anime to see on free times
